A Victorian Pub with a Long History
Established in 1870, the Fleur de Lis is set within a characterful Victorian building that has stood at the heart of Leigh for over a century. With its period features and traditional pub layout, the building reflects the area’s heritage and long-standing role as a place for locals and visitors to gather, eat, drink, and unwind.
Like any village local worth the name, the pub has been the backdrop to countless first pints, Sunday roasts and midweek catch-ups over the decades — but the building itself has always done the heavy lifting. Rather than patch and paint, we’ve taken the long view: a complete refurbishment of the interior, kitchen and grounds, so the Fleur de Lis can serve Leigh for its next 150 years.
A Pub for the Community
Fleur de Lis has long been a place where people come together. From locals popping in for a quiet pint to friends and families meeting over food, the pub continues its role as a welcoming, community-focused space for all.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in selected areas, and walk-ins are always welcome when space allows. Bookings are recommended during busier periods, especially at weekends.
